Job Description (JD) – PPC Executive (Production Planning & Control)
Position: PPC Executive
Department: Production Planning & Control (PPC)
Reporting To: PPC Manager / Plant Head
Location: NKCC Pvt. Ltd.
Job Purpose
To plan, monitor, and control production activities to ensure timely delivery of customer orders, optimum utilization of resources, material availability, and smooth coordination between Production, Purchase, Stores, and Dispatch departments.
Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Create machine-wise production schedules as per customer requirements.
- Monitor Plan vs Actual production and take corrective actions.
- Ensure timely completion of production orders.
2. Material Planning
- Check availability of raw materials and packing materials before planning.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for material requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid production stoppages due to shortages.
- Follow up for urgent material requirements.
3. Production Monitoring
- Track daily production status and update management.
- Monitor WIP (Work in Progress), Finished Goods, and Dispatch readiness.
- Identify production bottlenecks and coordinate resolution.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules.
4. Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Purchase, Design, and Dispatch teams.
- Communicate priority orders and delivery commitments.
- Ensure smooth information flow among departments.
- Participate in production review meetings.
5. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare Daily Production Reports.
- Maintain Production Planning Sheets.
- Generate MIS reports for management review.
- Maintain ERP records and planning data.
- Analyze delays and suggest improvements.

Qualification
- Graduate / Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years experience in PPC within a manufacturing industry.
- Corrugated Box / Packaging Industry experience preferred.

- Coordination with Sales and Production teams for delivery commitments.
- Experience in production planning through ERP systems.
