The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Python & AI Developer , you will be a hands‑on contributor within a cross‑functional engineering team, designing and building intelligent software solutions that leverage Python‑based services and modern AI capabilities. You will contribute directly to product features, support the integration of AI into existing platforms, and help deliver scalable, high‑quality software that meets real customer needs.
This role is ideal for a developer who is strong in Python fundamentals, curious about applied AI, and eager to grow their impact through real‑world product development.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
3–5 years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in Python, including experience building backend services or applications.
Basic to intermediate experience with AI/ML concepts, such as model integration, prompt‑based AI, or data‑driven features.
Experience working with REST APIs and integrating third‑party services.
Familiarity with Git‑based version control and collaborative development workflows.
Experience working in an agile or iterative development environment.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience with AI frameworks or tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn, or LLM‑based APIs).
Experience in healthcare or other regulated software environments
