Job Summary:
The Area Sales Executive (ASE) is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with jewellery retail partners, increasing product sales, expanding market presence, and achieving assigned sales targets within the allocated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit jewellery retail shops and dealers regularly within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with retailers and distributors.
- Generate secondary sales and ensure achievement of monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Promote new jewellery collections, schemes, and company offers to retailers.
- Ensure proper product visibility and branding at retail counters.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Collect market feedback and submit daily/weekly sales reports.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and coordinate with accounts when required.
- Appoint new retailers/distributors to expand market coverage.
- Conduct retailer meetings and promotional activities to boost sales.
- Ensure proper stock movement and product availability at retail outlets.
- Maintain discipline in reporting, travel planning, and PJP adherence.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of jewellery retail market and customer handling.
- Ability to travel extensively for field sales activities.
- Relationship-building and problem-solving ability.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- Experience in jewellery retail sales/field sales will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in jewellery, lifestyle, luxury, or retail sector.
