We are looking for a skilled and motivated Bidding Expert to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience bidding on Upwork and a solid understanding of software development, SaaS, web, and mobile applications.
This is a remote role with flexible working hours, ideal for professionals from IT sales, pre-sales, or business development backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms
- Write customized, high-quality proposals aligned with client requirements
- Communicate with potential clients to understand project needs and expectations
- Coordinate with the technical team for project scope, timelines, and cost estimation
- Track bidding performance, conversions, and follow-ups
- Generate leads and build long-term client relationships
- Maintain an organized database of leads and bidding activity
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in bidding on Upwork or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, web & mobile app development, and SaaS
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to analyze client requirements and convert them into clear project scopes
- Experience in drafting proposals, estimating budgets, and delivery timelines
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
- Self-driven, proactive, and result-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Trello, Slack, etc.
Nice to Have
- Educational background in IT (BCA, MCA, B.Tech, or similar)
- Experience with other platforms like Freelancer, Guru, PeoplePerHour
- Knowledge of CRM or sales automation tools
- Prior experience working with remote or distributed teams
