We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to join our Purchase Division. The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of purchase accounting, audit procedures, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and statutory compliance. Experience in purchase invoice verification, GRN verification, purchase bill booking, and reconciliation. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
Verify and approve purchase bill booking and reconciliation.
Verify Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and ensure accuracy.
Maintain proper filing of purchase bills and accounting records.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding purchase-related documentation.
Visit company branches periodically to audit purchase records, verify bills, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Assist in internal and statutory audits by providing the required documents and reports.
Ensure timely and accurate accounting entries in the ERP/accounting system.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
M.Com, CA Inter, or CMA Inter qualification.
1–2 years of experience in purchase accounting or a similar accounting role. Sound knowledge of purchase accounting, audit procedures, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and statutory compliance. Experience in purchase invoice verification, GRN verification, purchase bill booking, and reconciliation. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software.
Willingness to travel to company branches for audit and verification work. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
