Position: IT Supervisor

Job Summary
The IT Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth functioning of computer systems, networks, servers, internet connectivity, telecommunication systems, and hotel management software. The role includes providing technical support to hotel staff, maintaining system security, and supervising IT-related projects and activities.
Key Responsibilities1. IT Operations & Support
- Monitor and maintain all hotel IT systems and equipment.
- Provide technical support to hotel employees and departments.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of hotel management systems (PMS, POS, HRMS, ERP, etc.).
2. Network & System Administration
- Monitor LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
- Maintain servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT devices.
- Perform system updates, backups, and recovery procedures.
- Ensure proper functioning of CCTV, IP phones, and access control systems.
3. Security & Compliance
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
- Ensure data security and confidentiality.
- Maintain compliance with company IT policies and standards.
4. Vendor Management
- Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers.
- Track AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) activities.
- Follow up on warranty claims and equipment repairs.
- Assist in procurement of IT hardware and software.
5. Team Supervision
- Supervise IT Technicians and IT Assistants.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor performance.
- Provide guidance and training to team members.
- Maintain departmental records and documentation.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare IT maintenance reports and asset registers.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Document system configurations and troubleshooting records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–5 years of IT experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of hotel software such as PMS, POS, Opera, IDS, or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of networking, Windows Server, cybersecurity, and hardware troubleshooting.
