Job Summary
The Automobile Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial vehicles and related systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct inspections and identify repair requirements.
- Repair and replace defective parts and components.
- Carry out preventive maintenance as per company standards.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned jobs with quality workmanship.
- Maintain accurate service records and job cards.
- Follow safety procedures and workshop guidelines.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Supervisors regarding repair status.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in automotive repair and maintenance is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in automobile servicing and repairs.
- Experience in Commercial Vehicles, Trucks, or Heavy Vehicles preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques.
Skills Required
- Strong technical and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Customer-oriented approach.
Starting Salary : Rs, 15000 + incentive
