We are seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL for application support, enhancements, and performance optimization. The role involves working on existing Oracle-based systems, handling production support, and contributing to database modernization and migration initiatives.
The candidate will collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to prepare for future migration to cloud platforms, with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and PostgreSQL planned as target technologies.
Key Skills:
- Primary: Oracle PL/SQL
- Strong experience in procedures, functions, packages, and performance tuning
- Experience in query optimization, indexing, execution plans
- Data modeling and schema design
- Production support: issue analysis, data fixes, job monitoring
- Database enhancements and change implementation
- Exposure or readiness for migration to PostgreSQL on GCP (future state)
