Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Superintendent to oversee nursing services, ensure high standards of patient care, and manage nursing staff efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, clinical expertise, and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all nursing services.
- Ensure quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies.
- Manage nursing staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement nursing protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate with doctors, department heads, and hospital administration.
- Monitor infection control, patient safety, and nursing documentation.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing or GNM with relevant experience.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Minimum 8–10 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in hospital management and quality standards.
