About the Role:
The Shri Ram Universal School, Chennai is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Marketing Manager to support the school’s marketing, outreach, and brand-building initiatives. The role requires a strong mix of field marketing and event management.
The ideal candidate should have relevant marketing experience, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and be comfortable working extensively in the field to build partnerships and increase the school’s visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute marketing and promotional activities to enhance the school’s visibility and support admission-related initiatives.
- Identify and develop tie-ups with preschools, activity centres, residential communities, corporates, educational institutions, and other relevant organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and key stakeholders to generate leads and create brand awareness.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events, promotional campaigns, exhibitions, community outreach activities, and school events.
- Conduct regular field visits to identify new partnership and promotional opportunities.
- Support lead-generation activities through field marketing campaigns, events, and partnerships.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, agencies, and partners for the smooth execution of marketing initiatives.
- Track leads and enquiries generated through marketing activities and evaluate campaign effectiveness.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand local market trends and identify new marketing opportunities.
- Maintain records and prepare periodic reports on marketing activities, partnerships, events, leads generated, and campaign outcomes.
- Represent the school professionally during external meetings, events, and promotional activities.
Candidate Requirements:
- 2–8 years of relevant marketing experience in schools or the education sector; OR 4–8 years of relevant marketing experience in non-school industries.
- Demonstrated experience in marketing events, event management, partnerships/tie-ups, or field marketing activities.
- Candidates must be comfortable with regular field visits and field marketing responsibilities.
- Strong networking, negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of local marketing and lead-generation activities.
- Ability to independently plan and execute marketing campaigns and events.
- Strong organizational and event coordination skills.
- Result-oriented with the ability to work towards marketing and lead-generation targets.
- Fluency in English and Tamil is mandatory.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
