Job Title: Busbar Technician

Reports To: Production Supervisor / Electrical Supervisor
Job Summary
Responsible for the fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing of electrical busbar systems used in LV/MV electrical panels, and related equipment. The technician must ensure all busbar work is completed accurately, safely, and according to approved drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and busbar fabrication drawings.
- Measure, mark, cut, bend, punch, drill, and fabricate copper/aluminium busbars.
- Perform busbar insulation, sleeving, heat-shrink, and identification work.
- Assemble and install busbars inside electrical panels and switchboards.
- Maintain correct phase identification, clearances, creepage distances, and busbar spacing.
- Install supports, insulators, brackets, joints, and associated hardware.
- Perform proper bolting/torquing of busbar joints according to specifications.
- Check busbar alignment, dimensions, connections, and workmanship.
- Use hand tools, power tools, bending machines, cutting machines, drilling machines, and related equipment safely.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of completed busbar assemblies.
- Follow approved drawings, work instructions, quality procedures, and safety requirements.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working conditions in the work area.
- Coordinate with panel wiring, assembly, QC, and production teams.
Required Qualifications
- 0–5 years of experience in busbar fabrication/assembly or electrical panel manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read electrical drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical safety and workshop practices.
- Ability to use measuring instruments and common fabrication tools.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
