Key Roles & Responsibilities
The Account Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The role involves generating leads through various channels, including LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, referrals, inbound inquiries, databases, and networking events. The incumbent is expected to qualify prospective clients based on business requirements, budget, and timelines, while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline through regular follow-ups and effective lead nurturing.
The Account Manager will conduct client meetings, field visits, and virtual presentations to understand customer needs, recommend suitable products or services, negotiate commercial terms, and successfully close business opportunities. Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, the role requires building long-term client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting repeat business through proactive engagement and exceptional service.
In addition, the role requires maintaining accurate customer information and sales activities within the CRM system, preparing sales forecasts, monitoring pipeline health, and tracking lead conversion rates. The Account Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Delivery, and Accounts, to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements and timely service delivery. The role also involves gathering market intelligence, monitoring competitor activities, identifying emerging business opportunities, and contributing to sales strategy development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while preparing regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance metrics for management review. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, relationship management, and problem-solving skills, combined with a customer-focused approach and willingness to travel for business development activities, are essential for success in this role.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
