Job Summary
IVY World Play School, Ludhiana is looking for a caring, energetic, and responsible Assistant Teacher to support the class teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in daily classroom activities and routines.
- Support children during learning, play, creative, and activity-based sessions.
- Help prepare teaching-learning materials and classroom displays.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Assist children with daily routines, meals, hygiene, and activities.
- Encourage children to participate in rhymes, storytelling, games, and creative activities.
- Support the teacher in maintaining classroom records and student documentation.
- Assist during school events, celebrations, and co-curricular activities.
- Follow school policies and child-safety guidelines.
Eligibility
- Graduate / NTT / D.El.Ed / B.Ed mandatory
- Freshers with a genuine interest in early childhood education may apply.
- Previous preschool/play school experience will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, creativity, and a pleasant personality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
