Job Summary
We are looking for skilled and experienced Welders / Fitters to join our shipbuilding team. The candidate will be responsible for fitting, assembling, fabricating, and welding structural components as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Fitting Responsibilities:-
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical specifications.
- Measure, mark, cut, align, and fit structural components.
- Assemble steel structures, plates, beams, stiffeners, and other ship components.
- Perform tack welding and ensure proper alignment before final welding.
- Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and cutting equipment safely.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of fabricated structures.
Welding Responsibilities:-
- Perform welding operations as per approved welding procedures.
- Carry out SMAW / FCAW / GMAW (MIG/MAG) welding as applicable.
- Weld structural steel plates, pipes, and marine components.
- Ensure weld quality and minimize defects.
- Conduct visual inspection of completed welds.
- Follow welding symbols, drawings, WPS, and quality requirements.
Requirements:-
- ITI / Vocational Training in Welding, Fitting, Fabrication, or relevant trade preferred.
- Experience in Shipbuilding, Ship Repair, Marine, Heavy Fabrication, or Structural Steel Industry preferred.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Knowledge of welding processes and fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with safety standards and PPE requirements.
- Physically fit and able to work in a demanding shipyard environment.
Experience:-
2–8 years of relevant experience preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
