About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer specializing in firewall management and network security practices to design, implement, monitor, and maintain secure network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise firewall technologies, security policies, and threat mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
Firewall & Security Management
- Design, configure, and manage enterprise firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Check Point).
- Implement and maintain firewall rules, NAT policies, and VPN configurations.
- Perform firewall policy reviews, optimization, and cleanup activities.
- Manage IPS/IDS, WAF, and other perimeter security controls.
Infrastructure & Network Engineering
- Design and maintain LAN, WAN, and cloud network architectures with security best practices.
- Implement secure connectivity solutions (IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, site-to-site VPN).
- Work closely with cloud teams to secure Azure/AWS/GCP networking environments.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks).
- Support audits and compliance initiatives.
- Document network designs, security configurations, and operational procedures.
Change Management
- Participate in incident response and security investigations when required.
- Follow change management processes for firewall/network updates.
- Perform impact analysis for planned changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in network security and firewall management.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point)
- VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
- Network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP)
- Good understanding of:
- Security frameworks and best practices
- Network segmentation and Zero Trust concepts
- Threat detection and mitigation techniques
- Experience with monitoring tools and SIEM solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as:
- CCNP Security / CCIE Security
- PCNSE (Palo Alto)
- NSE 7 (Fortinet)
- CISSP / CISM (optional but desirable)
- Experience with cloud security (Azure Security, AWS Security Groups, NSGs).
Knowledge of automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.

Pay: ₹1,600,000.00 - ₹1,900,000.00 per year
