Senior Accountant (Gulf Experience Required)

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong exposure to Gulf accounting practices to manage day-to-day accounts, assist in financial reporting, and ensure compliance across multiple entities. The candidate must have hands-on experience in UAE/Gulf accounting procedures, VAT compliance, and project-based accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations and supervise junior accountants
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
- Prepare VAT working sheets and ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations
- Maintain ledgers, journals, and financial records accurately
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Handle project-wise accounting, cost tracking, and profitability reports
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure proper documentation for audit
- Manage bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and inter-company accounts
- Support budgeting and cash flow monitoring
- Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards as well
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification
- 4–10 years total experience
- Minimum 2–3 years Gulf experience is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of:
- UAE VAT rules and filing
- Gulf accounting software and practices
- Project-based accounting
- Proficiency in Tally Prime (mandatory) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- English communication must be good; Hindi spoken preferred
Salary Range
25,000 – 40,000 INR per month
(Based on experience, Gulf exposure, and accounting capability)
