We are seeking a motivated and student-centric Academic Counsellor who can guide students through course selection and career planning while actively contributing to admissions through effective counselling. The ideal candidate should be confident, persuasive, and comfortable handling students and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and parents on courses, curriculum, and career paths
- Handle walk-ins, calls, and online enquiries effectively
- Convert enquiries into admissions through structured counselling
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain lead data
- Coordinate with academic and faculty teams regarding student needs
- Maintain accurate counselling and admission records
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional activities
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fluent in Kannada and English (mandatory)
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet admission targets
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools preferred)
