Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Traffic Manager to oversee transportation operations, fleet movement, route planning, and dispatch activities. The ideal candidate will ensure timely vehicle movement, optimize logistics operations, and maintain compliance with transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily transportation and fleet operations.
- Manage vehicle scheduling, routing, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and efficient utilization of vehicles.
- Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and operational teams.
- Monitor vehicle movement and address transportation-related issues.
- Maintain transportation records, permits, and compliance documentation.
- Analyze transportation costs and implement process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
- Prepare operational and performance reports.
Requirements:
- Graduate in any discipline; Logistics or Supply Chain qualification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of transportation and fleet management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics management systems.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–8 years of experience in Traffic Management, Fleet Operations, Transport Management, or Logistics Operations.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or trucking industries preferred.
