Position: University Guidance Counselor
Location: One World International School, Whitefield
Key Responsibilities
- Guide students in planning their higher education and career pathways based on their interests, strengths, and aspirations.
- Provide end-to-end support for university applications to institutions in India and abroad, including application planning, essays, recommendations, documentation, and interview preparation.
- Conduct individual and group counselling sessions for students and parents on university admissions, scholarships, and career opportunities.
- Organize university fairs, college visits, webinars, and interactions with university representatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global university admission requirements, entrance examinations, scholarships, and education trends.
- Track application timelines, maintain student records, and ensure timely submission of all application materials.
- Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and parents to support students' academic and career goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities and external educational organizations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counselling, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in university and career counselling, preferably in an IB/IGCSE/international school.
- Strong knowledge of university admission processes in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, India, and other major study destinations.
- Excellent counselling, communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with university application platforms and student guidance tools is preferred.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
