Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Panel Wiring Technician with experience in SPM (Special Purpose Machine) automation projects. The candidate will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical control panels, reading electrical drawings, and supporting machine commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical panel wiring as per electrical schematics and GA drawings.
- Assemble and wire PLC control panels, MCC panels, and automation panels.
- Mount electrical components such as MCBs, contactors, relays, SMPS, VFDs, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
- Carry out cable routing, ferruling, crimping, and wire dressing as per industry standards.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of wires and components.
- Test continuity, insulation, and panel functionality before dispatch.
- Assist in machine installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
- Coordinate with design and PLC programming teams for project completion.
- Follow electrical safety standards and maintain a clean working environment.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical panel wiring and control circuits.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Experience in panel assembly and cable management.
- Hands-on experience with PLC panels, VFDs, relays, sensors, and industrial electrical components.
- Knowledge of electrical testing tools such as multimeters and insulation testers.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Qualification
- ITI Electrician / Wireman / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Freshers with good practical knowledge or experienced candidates are welcome.
Preferred Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in SPM, Industrial Automation, Machine Building, or Control Panel Manufacturing.
- Experience in onsite panel installation and machine commissioning is an added advantage.
