The Office Interior Project Estimate Engineer at TRIOS is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, budget forecasts, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for office interior fit-out projects. This role ensures that project costs are optimized, competitive, and aligned with sustainability standards, enabling smooth execution and profitability of turnkey office interior projects.
✅ Prepare 100% accurate BOQs and cost estimates for all office interior projects within 3-5 working days of the initial requirement.
✅ Achieve a variance of less than ±5% between estimated and actual project costs.
✅ Conduct regular cost benchmarking to keep estimates competitive in the market.
✅ Maintain an updated database of vendor pricing for materials, labor, and subcontractors, ensuring competitive rates.
✅ Identify cost-saving opportunities to reduce project costs by at least 8-10% annually without compromising quality.
✅ Conduct quarterly cost reviews and implement best practices in procurement and value engineering.
✅ Prepare comprehensive BOQs, RFQs (Request for Quotations), and tender documents for all projects.
✅ Ensure 100% compliance with material specifications, sustainability requirements, and client-approved designs.
✅ Collaborate with procurement and project managers to ensure timely order placement and material availability.
✅ Work closely with design, procurement, and project execution teams to align estimates with project realities.
✅ Provide cost guidance during the design development phase, helping optimize material selection for budget efficiency.
✅ Attend client meetings and site visits as needed to explain cost breakdowns and value-added options.
✅ Ensure at least 50% of materials used in estimates are GreenPro-certified, IGBC-compliant, or sustainable.
✅ Keep up with industry trends, new materials, and technology advancements in sustainable office interiors.
✅ Ensure all estimates comply with local regulations, safety norms, and environmental standards.
