Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced person to independently manage the biomass receiving, weighing, moisture checking, storage, inventory, material movement and dispatch operations .
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming biomass/agricultural residue from suppliers and vehicles.
- Supervise weighment of incoming and outgoing materials and maintain accurate records.
- Check and record moisture content and basic quality parameters of biomass.
- Inspect materials for quality, contamination, excess moisture and foreign materials.
- Manage proper unloading, stacking, segregation and storage of biomass.
- Maintain stock-yard discipline, cleanliness and proper stacking practices.
- Maintain daily physical stock and inventory records and reconcile with weighment data.
- Monitor material movement from storage to production and ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Coordinate loading and dispatch of finished biomass/pellet material and raw materials.
- Supervise labour, loaders, tractor/trolley operators and other yard workers.
- Monitor yard equipment, handling machinery and basic maintenance requirements and coordinate repairs when required.
- Ensure proper utilization of storage space and minimize material loss, wastage and deterioration.
- Maintain records of inward, outward, stock balance, moisture, supplier-wise quantity and dispatches.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, transporters and management.
- Ensure safety, fire prevention and proper housekeeping within the biomass storage yard.
Candidate Profile
- Only candidates with relevant experience in biomass, agricultural raw material, warehouse, stock yard, material handling or similar operations should apply.
- Experience in biomass/agricultural residue handling will be strongly preferred.
- Practical knowledge of weighing, moisture measurement, stock management and material handling.
- Should be capable of managing labour and day-to-day yard operations independently.
- Good knowledge of Excel/stock registers and basic reporting.
- Should be physically present and active in the stock yard.
- Bengali is essential; Hindi/English knowledge will be an advantage.
- Should be reliable, disciplined and capable of taking responsibility for the complete biomass yard.
Compensation
₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on relevant experience and capability.

Experience: Experienced candidates only. Freshers are not eligible.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
