Role Overview
We are hiring Associate to join our Accounts Receivable and Revenue Accounting team.
You will manage Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and collections across all B2B
and B2C sales channels, including E-commerce, Quick Commerce, Modern Trade, and
Traditional Trade. A deep, specialized understanding of E-com/Q-com ecosystems and a
strong drive to recover overdue outstanding balances are critical for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Channel Reconciliation: Perform end-to-end ledger matching and
Accounts Receivable reconciliations across all online and oƯline sales networks.
Marketplace Expense Accounting: Validate and account for platform-specific
deductions, including marketplace commissions, advertisement expenses,
shipping fees, and brand-funded discounts.
Revenue & Secondary Sales: Record primary revenue, manage secondary sales
accounting (aligning distributor/retail data with stock movements), and pass
accurate monthly expense provisions for commercial closures.
Overdue Collections: Actively drive monthly collection targets with a strict,
aggressive focus on recovering overdue outstanding balances.
Dispute Management: Identify short payments and unauthorized deductions.
Raise and track disputes with e-commerce platforms, Q-commerce partners, and
oƯline distributors until recovery.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 2 to 4 years of core experience in Accounts Receivable, revenue
accounting, and commercial reconciliations.
Domain Expertise: Broad exposure to multi-channel sales environments, backed
by deep, specialized expertise in E-commerce and Quick Commerce
reconciliation.
Technical Skills: * MS Excel: Advanced proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, large
data handling) is mandatory.
o ERP Systems: Experience with Zoho is highly preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a
related field.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Collection Targets: Percentage of overdue outstanding balances recovered
month-on-month.
Reconciliation Accuracy: Speed of resolving un-reconciled line items and
clearing variances.
Deduction Recovery: Success rate in recovering disputed or wrongful
marketplace deductions.
