Project Assistant:One (01) Project Post at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Hyderabad. Temporary for one year and may be renewed each year up to a total period of four years depending upon performance and requirement.
Essential Qualification:
· Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) or Equivalent in relevant fields with aggregate of 60% marks from a recognized university/institute.
Desirable Experience:
· 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or project coordination.
Required Skills:
· Strong understanding of procurement processes, quotation analysis, and order management
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
· Good negotiation and vendor management skills
· Basic knowledge of contract terms, shipping terms, vendor agreements
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
· Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
· Effective communication and coordination skills
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Assistant to support project execution with a strong focus on procurement processes, vendor coordination, quotations, and order management. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operational flow by coordinating between internal teams and external vendors while maintaining accurate documentation and timelines.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in day-to-day project coordination and administrative support
· Handle end-to-end procurement activities including vendor identification, RFQs (Request for Quotations), price comparisons and negotiations
· Prepare, review, and process quotations in line with project requirements
· Manage purchase orders, track order status, and ensure timely delivery of materials/services
· Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for negotiations, clarifications, and follow-ups
· Maintain procurement records, documentation
· Work closely with project manager to align procurement schedules with project timelines
· Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning where required
· Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
Salary: Rs.40,000/-month Consolidated Pay (Including HRA), negotiable.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
