Job Description: Fabrication Engineer

Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Fabrication Engineer to oversee and optimize our production processes. You will be responsible for translating engineering drawings into structural reality, ensuring high-quality welding, cutting, and assembly operations while maintaining strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning: Supervise day-to-day fabrication, welding, and assembly activities to meet delivery timelines.
- Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret complex fabrication drawings, GA (General Arrangement) layouts, and structural blueprints accurately.
- Quality Control: Inspect structural components, welding quality, and material finishes (such as galvanization or powder coating) to ensure alignment with client specifications.
- Resource & Team Management: Lead a team of welders, fitters, and operators, ensuring maximum machine utilization and minimal material wastage.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the production line and implement corrective actions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in heavy/industrial metal fabrication, welding processes, or structural steel manufacturing.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, knowledge of QA/QC inspection tools (Vernier, Gauges), and understanding of fabrication safety protocols.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 per month (depending on experience and skills)
