About the Team
The Corporate Development team plays a pivotal role in driving Navi's strategic growth, capital initiatives, and inorganic expansion. We act as a strategic engine for the company, actively monitoring market trends and competitive landscapes to build a robust M&A pipeline. Operating at the core of Navi’s financial future, our team leads equity capital raising projects—spanning private equity and IPO preparation. We also foster and maintain vital relationships with both private and public market investors through proactive communication and engagements.
About the Role
In this role you will operate at the intersection of financial strategy and execution. You will be an integral part of the IPO team, collaborating directly with investment bankers and external advisors to navigate the end-to-end capital raising process. You will take deep ownership of critical work streams, which includes building complex financial models, crafting investor decks, and compiling comprehensive industry reports.
This role requires a proactive thinker who can identify strategic gaps , seamlessly coordinate across internal teams to prioritize tasks , and generate the vital materials that support our broader investor relations activities.
Work on equity capital raising projects (private equity, pre-IPO, IPO) from end-to-end
Be a part of the IPO team and work with investment bankers and other advisors on the process.
Work and lead work streams such as financial model, investor decks, industry reports and coordination with other parties for the IPO
Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to provide insights and build an M&A pipeline to enhance existing business capabilities and / or find new avenues of growth
Work on execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, negotiation and closing
Coordinate the creation of investor decks, business plan, and other materials that support investor relations activities
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors (private, pubic market) through meetings, calls, and events with proactive communication
Prioritise tasks and communicate effectively across teams to complete them
Identify gaps and areas of improvement in the business strategy and provide independent insights.
Send regular updates to the Company’s Board of Directors on business performance
Must Haves
2-4 years of experience (MBA / CA preferred but not mandatory)
Great analytical skills and a fast learner
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Investment Banking, Strategy, Consulting background preferred
Ex-VC or PE experience is a plus
Ability to understand key business drivers and their impact on the financial numbers
Takes initiative and can think of new ways to approach a problem
Strong Excel Modelling skills.
