Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Facility Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of office and industrial facilities within a Pharma/Biotech environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise in Electrical and HVAC systems, and a proven track record of managing large teams while ensuring operational excellence, safety, compliance, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end facility operations for office and industrial facilities.
- Ensure smooth functioning of critical infrastructure, including Electrical, HVAC, Utilities, and Building Management Systems.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Manage facility budgets, vendor contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive operational efficiency, energy management, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of 30+ employees and service providers.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless facility support and business continuity.
- Handle audits, inspections, risk assessments, and emergency response planning.
- Monitor facility performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of overall facility management experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership/senior management role.
- Proven experience managing office and industrial facilities, preferably within the Pharma, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of Electrical and HVAC operations and maintenance.
- Experience managing teams of 30+ personnel, including vendors and subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of facility compliance, EHS standards, and statutory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

- Experience working in GMP-regulated facilities.
- Knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices.
- Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
