Fundraiser – Job Description Role Overview
A Fundraiser is responsible for generating financial support for an organization (usually NGOs, charities, or social initiatives) by engaging donors, running campaigns, and building long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential donors (individuals, corporates, institutions)
- Plan and execute fundraising campaigns & events
- Communicate the organization’s mission to inspire donations
- Maintain relationships with existing donors
- Use platforms (calls, social media, emails) for outreach
- Track donations and maintain donor databases
- Collaborate with marketing/HR teams for campaigns
Requirements
