Summary:
In the role of Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework tailored to align with organizational objectives and operational standards. This includes creating detailed architectural plans that support secure cloud adoption and overseeing the documentation process for implemented security controls. The role also encompasses facilitating the smooth transition of security operations to a managed cloud environment, ensuring continuous alignment with business needs and performance expectations. Collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain a robust security posture is a key aspect of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and enforcement of cloud security policies and standards to safeguard organizational assets.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to integrate security architecture within broader IT and business strategies.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Saviynt Identity Platform.
- Experience with identity and access management solutions and cloud security frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of security architecture design principles and best practices.
- Ability to analyze and document security controls and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with cloud service models and deployment architectures.
- Skilled in risk assessment and mitigation strategies within cloud environments.
