We’re Hiring: Fashion Designer / Apparel Designer
We are hiring for a new in-house apparel and textile vertical under a premium lifestyle brand. This role requires someone who understands design, fabrics, sampling, and execution from concept to finished product.
Location: Delhi/NCR preferred
Experience: 3 years
Compensation: Up to ₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and portfolio
Work Type: In-house, full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Develop garment concepts, silhouettes, collections, and design directions.
- Create moodboards, colour stories, design references, and presentation sheets.
- Select suitable fabrics, trims, finishes, and construction techniques.
- Convert ideas and sketches into practical garment samples.
- Coordinate directly with tailors, pattern masters, sampling teams, vendors, and fabric suppliers.
- Supervise garment sampling, fittings, alterations, and fit corrections.
- Ensure that the final sample accurately reflects the original design concept.
- Support the complete development process from initial concept to finished product.
- Maintain consistency in quality, design language, detailing, and finishing.
What We’re Looking For
- Practical knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, stitching, and sampling.
- Ability to balance creativity with commercial and production feasibility.
- Strong understanding of measurements, fits, silhouettes, and garment detailing.
- Comfortable working closely with tailors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Able to independently handle concept-to-sample execution.
- Willing to work in-house and remain actively involved throughout the development process.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in ethnic wear, fusion wear, premium or luxury apparel, lifestyle brands, boutiques, designer labels, export houses, or D2C clothing brands.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
