Job Summary
The Maintenance Civil Engineer is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of civil structures and infrastructure within the facility. This role ensures buildings, roads, drainage systems, and other civil works remain safe, functional, and compliant with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of buildings, structures, roads, drainage systems, and other civil facilities.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Identify structural defects, cracks, leaks, or damages and implement appropriate repair solutions.
Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Supervise contractors, technicians, and maintenance staff during repair works.
Estimate material requirements, costs, and timelines for maintenance projects.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
Maintain records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repair reports.
Coordinate with other departments for facility-related maintenance needs.
Monitor and maintain utilities such as water supply systems, sewage systems, and drainage structures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in maintenance, facility management, or civil construction.
Knowledge of building maintenance, repair techniques, and structural assessment.
Familiarity with maintenance management systems and engineering drawings.
