About the Role
Global Child Wellness Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to assess, treat, and rehabilitate children with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal conditions. The ideal candidate should be passionate about pediatric rehabilitation and committed to improving patients' mobility, strength, functional independence, and overall quality of life through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients through detailed physical examinations and functional evaluations.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on clinical findings.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, stretching, strengthening, balance, and gait training.
- Treat pediatric conditions including developmental delays, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, muscular weakness, torticollis, and orthopedic conditions.
- Conduct pain management and mobility improvement programs.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Maintain accurate patient assessment reports, treatment notes, and progress documentation.
- Educate parents and caregivers regarding home exercise programs and rehabilitation techniques.
- Coordinate with Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Behavioral Therapists, and Pediatricians to ensure multidisciplinary care.
- Assist patients in improving posture, coordination, flexibility, balance, endurance, and motor skills.
- Use physiotherapy equipment and therapeutic modalities safely and effectively.
- Ensure infection control and maintain treatment room cleanliness.
- Counsel families regarding rehabilitation goals, expected outcomes, and preventive care.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and continuous professional development activities.
- Stay updated with current physiotherapy practices and evidence-based treatment protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) (Mandatory)
- Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) preferred
