We are seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical experience and a strong leadership background, with the ability to inspire and mentor nursing staff to achieve the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient care and nursing practices within the unit.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
- Manage staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff and assist with professional development.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and administration for effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff and provide feedback for improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification; a Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in India.
- 5-15 years of clinical nursing experience with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and management skills to guide nursing staff effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, patient care protocols, and healthcare regulations.
- Ability to handle emergency situations and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in using healthcare technology and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
