Production Supervisor – Filing & Polishing Department (Export Jewellery Manufacturing)
Location: Andheri (SEEPZ), Mumbai
Salary: Up to ₹7,00,000 CTC per annum
Qualification: HSC / Graduate
Experience: 5+ Years in Jewellery Manufacturing (Filing & Polishing Department)
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the Filing & Polishing department.
- Plan and prioritize production loading to achieve delivery targets.
- Ensure smooth production flow and monitor WIP/aging.
- Maintain high-quality standards and reduce rejection through corrective actions.
- Control polishing loss, gold recovery, and diamond breakage/missing.
- Ensure timely stock transfers, production reporting, and documentation.
- Improve productivity of bench workers and optimize manpower utilization.
- Maintain 5S, safety, and departmental discipline.
- Coordinate with PPC, QC, and other production teams for timely execution.
Requirements:
- HSC or Graduate.
- 5+ years of experience in Filing & Polishing department of a jewellery manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, polishing processes, and team handling.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under production deadlines.
Salary: Up to ₹7,00,000 CTC per annum
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
