We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer who can take ownership of our technology ecosystem and help us build, improve and maintain the digital infrastructure behind the business.
You will work directly with the management team and have the opportunity to contribute to the development of internal systems, client-facing platforms, automation workflows, APIs, dashboards and technology-driven financial services solutions.
Role Overview
As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications across the front end, back end and database layers.
You will be expected to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, build the solution, deploy it and continuously improve it.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building from scratch, solving problems independently and taking ownership of products rather than simply executing assigned coding tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full Stack Development
- Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications.
- Build scalable front-end interfaces and robust back-end systems.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
- Debug, test and optimize applications.
2. Internal Technology & Automation
- Develop internal tools and applications to improve business operations.
- Automate repetitive workflows and manual processes.
- Build dashboards and management reporting systems.
- Integrate CRM, communication, financial and other third-party platforms.
- Identify technology-driven opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
3. Client-Facing Technology
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of GCIC’s website and digital platforms.
- Improve client onboarding and digital journeys.
- Develop tools and interfaces that make financial information easier for clients and internal teams to access.
- Work towards creating a seamless digital experience across web, mobile and communication channels.
4. Product Development
- Work directly with management to understand business requirements.
- Convert business problems into practical technical solutions.
- Participate in product architecture and technology decisions.
- Build MVPs and prototypes rapidly where required.
- Continuously improve existing products based on user feedback and business requirements.
5. Infrastructure & Security
- Manage application deployment and basic cloud infrastructure.
- Implement appropriate authentication, authorization and access controls.
- Follow secure coding practices.
- Maintain backups, monitoring and basic application security.
- Ensure reliability, performance and scalability of applications.
6. Collaboration
- Work closely with management, operations, sales and marketing teams.
- Coordinate with external technology vendors and developers when required.
- Clearly communicate technical limitations, timelines and potential solutions.
- Take ownership of projects from requirement gathering through deployment.
Required Technical Skills
Candidates should have practical experience with a modern full-stack development environment.
Front End
- HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
- React.js / Next.js or equivalent framework
- Responsive UI development
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles
Back End
- Node.js / Python / Java / equivalent
- REST APIs
- Authentication and authorization
- API integration
Databases
- PostgreSQL / MySQL or equivalent
- Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases is a plus
- Database design and optimization
Development & Infrastructure
- Git / GitHub
- Basic Linux knowledge

- Deployment and application monitoring
- Basic understanding of CI/CD

- Strong portfolio/GitHub projects will be highly valued.
- Candidates with demonstrated full-stack development ability are encouraged to apply even if they do not perfectly match every requirement.
Pay: Up to ₹420,000.00 per year
