Key Responsibilities Video Editing & Motion Graphics:
- End-to-End Editing: Cut, assemble, and edit raw footage into highly engaging, fast-paced videos tailored for modern social media formats (Reels, Shorts).
- Pacing & Storytelling: Optimize video hooks, transitions, sound effects (SFX), and background music to maximize viewer retention and engagement.
- Motion Graphics: Design and integrate clean text animations, kinetic typography, dynamic lower-thirds, and visual effects (VFX).
- Subtitling & Formatting: Create clear, stylized, on-brand captions and subtitles that pop.
Graphic Design & Branding:
- Social Content: Design eye-catching Instagram carousels, static posts, stories, and high-click-through YouTube thumbnails.
- Performance Marketing Assets: Create high-converting ad creatives for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads.
- Web & Campaign Design: Design visually compelling assets for landing pages, web banners, and digital brochures while maintaining strict brand consistency.
- Conceptualization: Brainstorm with the content and marketing teams to turn rough concepts into polished, professional visual stories.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 0–1 years of professional experience in graphic design and video editing (Agency or startup experience is a major plus).
- Software Mastery:
- Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve. (CapCut Desktop proficiency for rapid social media editing is a bonus).
- Motion Graphics: Adobe After Effects.
- Graphic Design: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Figma.
- Social Media Native: Deep understanding of current social media trends, viral editing styles, audio transitions, and platform-specific formats.
- Speed & Efficiency: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and iterate quickly based on feedback.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating diverse graphic design work and engaging video edits is mandatory.
