Key Job Responsibilities of an F&B Steward:
- Service Excellence: Greet and seat guests, present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverages promptly.
- Table Management: Set up, clean, and re-set tables throughout the guest dining experience.
- Sanitation & Hygiene: Wash and sanitize dishes, kitchen equipment, and utensils, ensuring all areas are spotless.
- Operational Support: Assist waiters and kitchen staff, including transporting equipment, clearing used dishes, and managing inventory/restocking.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Guest Interaction: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Flexibility: Ability to work in shifts.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and staff.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring clean, organized, and safe environments.
- Experience: Previous experience in a steward or food service role is often preferred
