Technical Design Documentation
- Prepare technical notes, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), engineering designs, cost estimates, and Bill of Quantities (BoQs) for water supply schemes and Solid and Liquid Waste Management (SLWM) infrastructure.
- Develop technology-specific manuals covering working principles, design parameters, construction guidelines, and O M protocols for various water supply and sanitation technologies.
- Review and quality-check technical drawings, specifications, and estimates prepared by field teams or sub-consultants.
- Prepare presentations, briefs, and reference documents on technical aspects of WASH
- Support development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for O M of WASH infrastructure at various levels.
Capacity Building Training Support
- Design and deliver technical sessions during district/ state-level training workshops for government engineers and community-level functionaries.
- Develop training modules and resource booklets on technical aspects of water supply and SLWM systems, including FSSM.
Field Support Handholding
- Provide on-ground technical handholding to GPs, district teams, and contractors on execution of WASH infrastructure - including construction quality, material specifications, and site-specific troubleshooting.
- Assist field coordinators in documenting technical challenges, solutions, and good practices from the field for inclusion in project reports and knowledge products.
Coordination Reporting
- Work in close coordination with the sanitation, water supply, and capacity building verticals to ensure technical consistency across project deliverables.
- Contribute technical sections to inception reports, quarterly progress reports, assessment reports, and the final project report.
- Coordinate with district engineers and government counterparts to gather secondary data, validate technical findings, and seek approvals for DPRs and design
