Sliding Head CNC Programmer – 7 Axis + Gun Drilling / 8 Axis (SolidCAM)
Location: Sonipat | Experience: 4–10 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & optimize CNC programs using SolidCAM for Swiss-type sliding head machines.
- Handle 7 Axis (Gun Drilling) and 8 Axis Dual Spindle machines.
- Perform simulation, collision check & program validation.
- Define machining strategy: tooling, RPM, feed, depth of cut.
- Program gun drilling (deep hole drilling) with proper parameters.
- Support machine setup, prove-out & first piece approval.
- Troubleshoot program, tooling & dimensional issues during production.
- Ensure adherence to drawing tolerances, GD&T & surface finish.
- Maintain CNC programs, setup sheets & tool lists.
- Follow 5S & safety standards.
Machine Exposure
- Tornos – Swiss ST 26 (7 Axis + Gun Drilling)
- DMG MORI – SPRINT 20/8 Linear (8 Axis, Dual Spindle)
- Controller: Fanuc (mandatory), Siemens (preferred)
Qualification
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- OR CIPET Diploma in:
- Tool Design & CAD/CAM
- Tool & Die Making
- Plastics Mould Design
- Equivalent CNC programming experience
Skills Required
- Strong SolidCAM programming experience
- Expertise in Fanuc control
- Knowledge of tooling, RPM, feed & machining optimization
- Experience in precision machining / Swiss-type CNC

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
