Ishwar Healthcare is looking for a dedicated and clinically competent MBBS ICU Duty Doctor to join our Critical Care team. The candidate will be responsible for managing ICU patients, responding to medical emergencies, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical judgment, excellent emergency management skills, and experience in handling critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients admitted to the ICU.
- Assess, stabilize, and manage emergency and life-threatening conditions.
- Monitor patients' clinical status, vital signs, ventilator parameters, and treatment response.
- Perform emergency procedures such as CPR, airway management, central venous access (if trained), and other life-saving interventions.
- Coordinate patient care with Intensivists, Physicians, Surgeons, and other Specialists.
- Maintain accurate case records, daily progress notes, ICU charts, treatment orders, and discharge summaries.
- Prescribe medications and investigations as per clinical protocols and consultant guidance.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the hospital.
- Communicate effectively with patients' attendants regarding clinical updates under consultant supervision.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control practices, NABH standards, and patient safety guidelines.
Qualification
- MBBS from a recognized medical college.
- Valid National Medical Commission (NMC)/State Medical Council Registration.
Experience
- 2 years of experience in ICU, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, or Hospital Medicine.
- Candidates with experience in ventilator management and emergency care will be preferred.
