Job Title: Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – BESS
Department: Engineering / Projects / Renewable Energy

Job Purpose:
To support the design, execution, commissioning, and maintenance of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects while gaining hands-on experience in energy storage technologies, power systems, and EPC project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support & Learning
- Assist in design and engineering of BESS projects (battery sizing, system configuration, SLDs).
- Support preparation of technical documents, drawings, and reports.
- Learn about battery technologies (Lithium-ion, LFP, etc.), PCS, EMS, and SCADA systems.
2. Project Execution
- Support site activities including installation, testing, and commissioning of BESS systems.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams.
- Monitor project progress and report deviations.
3. Testing & Commissioning
- Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Support functional testing of BESS components (Battery racks, inverters, transformers).
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
4. Operation & Maintenance Support
- Help in troubleshooting system issues and performance monitoring.
- Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Analyze system data and generate performance reports.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation (drawings, test reports, checklists).
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and power systems
- Understanding of renewable energy systems (Solar + BESS preferred)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD / electrical design tools
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work at project sites
Educational Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Power Engineering
Experience:
- 0–1 year (Freshers can apply)
Preferred Knowledge (Good to Have):
- Battery technologies and energy storage systems
- SCADA / EMS systems
- Grid integration concepts
- Basic knowledge of standards (IEC, IEEE)
