Sterlite EdIndia Foundation (EdIndia) is seeking to recruit an Academic Coordinator who will be based at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The Academic Coordinator will be a part of the Academic Team and will contribute to designing curriculum-aligned content, developing digital learning modules, and facilitating teacher training programs. The role also involves close collaboration with program teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and measurement of educational initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill all content requirements of programs and projects under EdIndia.
- Develop curriculum-aligned content in English for teachers and students across various e-platforms.
- Apply Instructional Design and pedagogy principles to create engaging, scalable, and teacher-friendly content.
- Create storyboards, digital modules, and assessments for teacher training and student learning.
- Design, develop, and facilitate workshops, webinars, and training sessions for pre-service and in-service teachers.
- Collaborate with academic and technology teams to transform classroom pedagogy into interactive e-learning experiences.
- Work closely with leadership, program heads, government stakeholders, and partner organizations to ensure delivery of high-quality academic interventions.
- Collaborate with M&E and content teams to develop robust systems for measuring project outputs and outcomes.
- Independently manage end-to-end project updates, documentation, and partner communication across organizational levels.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in English or Hindi, with B.Ed from a reputed university.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following: Content Development, Course Development, Pedagogy & Training, Instructional Design, or Educational Technology.
- Successful track record in academics, content development, or teacher education.
- Certification in Instructional Design or Educational Technology will be a plus.
Freshers with a Certification in Instructional Design or Educational Technology are also encouraged to apply.
Desired Skills:
· Strong conceptual and pedagogical understanding of Perspectives of Education (Philosophy, Psychology, and Sociology).
· High drive for quality results with excellent planning, prioritization, and monitoring skills.
· Rich experience in classroom teaching, teacher training, and content development, preferably in government school education and/or pre-service teacher education.
· Passion for enhancing the professional experience of teachers and improving student learning outcomes.
