Position Summary
The Physiotherapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation services to patients with neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. The role requires clinical expertise, strong patient management skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Assessment & Clinical Evaluation
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with neurological and orthopaedic conditions
- Evaluate joint mobility, muscle strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence
- Establish accurate clinical findings and rehabilitation goals
2. Treatment Planning & Execution
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on clinical assessment
- Administer appropriate interventions including:
- Therapeutic exercises
- Manual therapy techniques
- Neurorehabilitation approaches
- Electrotherapy modalities
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative rehabilitation support
3. Rehabilitation & Patient Care
- Implement structured rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and quality of life
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to treatment protocols
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and preventive care
4. Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Work closely with neurologists, neurosurgeons, occupational therapists, and speech therapists
- Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions and care planning
5. Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
- Prepare clinical reports and discharge summaries
6. Technology & Research Integration
- Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment and assistive technologies
- Contribute to research and innovation initiatives, where applicable
Eligibility Criteria
- Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Orthopaedics or Neurology
- Valid state physiotherapy registration/license
- 0–3 years of relevant clinical experience (freshers may be considered)

- Knowledge of neuro and musculoskeletal rehabilitation principles
