Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Plumbing Draughtsman to prepare accurate technical drawings and layouts for electrical and plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role involves close coordination with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure drawings meet design intent, codes, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical and plumbing drawings including layouts, schematics, single-line diagrams, and isometrics.
- Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings as per project specifications.
- Interpret design concepts, calculations, and markups provided by engineers and consultants.
- Ensure drawings comply with local codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to avoid clashes.
- Revise drawings based on client, consultant, or site feedback.
- Maintain organized drawing records and version control.
- Assist site teams by providing technical clarifications and updated drawings when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Drafting or related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical & Plumbing Draughtsman (MEP).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit MEP is an added advantage).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems (lighting, power, earthing, low current) and plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, sanitary).
- Knowledge of MEP symbols, standards, and drawings.
- Basic knowledge of BIM coordination is a plus.
Experience
2–5 years of relevant experience in MEP drafting.

- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with construction site practices is an advantage.
