Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer – Field/Site to manage and supervise civil construction activities at project sites.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of building construction, site execution, BOQ, estimation, BBS, quantity calculation, contractor bill verification and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day civil construction and site execution activities.
- Supervise RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry and finishing works.
- Prepare and verify BOQ, estimation and quantity take-offs.
- Prepare and check Bar Bending Schedule (BBS).
- Calculate quantities for concrete, steel, brickwork, plaster, flooring and other construction works.
- Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Check site measurements and verify contractor bills.
- Monitor material consumption, wastage and quality.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, architects and consultants.
- Monitor project progress and maintain daily/site reports.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Ensure work is completed as per required quality and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of building construction and site execution.
- Good understanding of BOQ, Estimation, BBS and Quantity Surveying.
- Knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete, masonry and finishing works.
- Ability to read structural and architectural drawings.
- Experience in contractor coordination and bill verification.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and construction documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and site management skills.
- Ability to independently handle site responsibilities.
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Preferred Experience
Experience in residential or commercial building construction projects will be preferred.
Candidates with strong hands-on experience in BOQ + Estimation + BBS + Quantity Calculation + Site Execution + Contractor Bill Verification will have an advantage.
