Job Title: Video Editor

About the Role
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate can transform raw footage into polished, engaging videos across formats — from social media reels to client presentations and promotional content. Portfolio/showreel submission is mandatory for consideration.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, ads, websites, and client projects
- Create short-form content (Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos) as well as long-form edits
- Add motion graphics, transitions, text overlays, and basic VFX where needed
- Color grade and correct footage for consistency and visual quality
- Sync audio, add background music, sound effects, and voiceovers
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to align videos with campaign goals and brand guidelines
- Organize and manage raw footage, project files, and version control
- Stay updated with video trends, formats, and platform-specific best practices (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Manage multiple projects and turnaround videos within tight deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience
- Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating range of past work (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
- Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is a plus
- Experience with motion graphics and basic animation
- Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual rhythm
- Familiarity with audio editing tools (Adobe Audition or similar)
- Knowledge of export settings/formats for different platforms (social media, web, print)
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in brand execution
- Good communication skills and ability to incorporate feedback
- Ability to manage time effectively across multiple concurrent projects
