Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to create innovative applications that align with organizational goals and user requirements, ensuring that the software is both functional and efficient.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide Application Maintenance (L2/L3)and Development (enhancement) support for SAP MDG activities
- Configure and customize MDG data models, workflows, and business rules for master data domains (e.g., Material, Vendor, Customer, Finance).
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into MDG solutions.
- Develop and maintain enhancements, validations, and derivations using BRF+, BADI, and ABAP for MDG.
- Ensure data governance policies and standards are enforced across SAP systems.
- Support integration of MDG with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Perform data quality checks, cleansing, and harmonization activities.
- Document MDG configurations, processes, and governance frameworks for audit and compliance
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master s preferred).
- 10 to 11 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) with exposure to SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong techno-functional expertise in MDG configuration, customization, and integration.
- Hands-on experience with MDG data models, workflows, BRF+, and ABAP enhancements.
- Knowledge of master data processes across domains (Material, Vendor, Customer, Finance)
.-Experience in SAP application maintenance and development projects.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 for MDG user interfaces.
- Exposure to data governance frameworks, compliance standards, and audit requirements.
- SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – MDG) are highly desirable
