We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Surveyor to join our team at the GAIL USAR project site in Maharashtra. This role is critical in ensuring the precision and alignment of our construction activities.
Role Overview
As a Site Surveyor, you will be responsible for precise site measurements, layout markings, and elevation control. You will bridge the gap between engineering designs and physical site implementation, ensuring all foundation and structural components are placed in strict accordance with the project drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Precision Surveying: Conduct accurate site surveys using Total Station equipment.
- Drawing Interpretation: Analyze engineering and architectural drawings to interpret design requirements accurately.
- Site Layout & Marking: Execute site markings for structural elements, including foundation bolts, ensuring they align with both the design coordinates and physical site conditions.
- Leveling & Control: Perform precise leveling operations and establish Temporary Bench Marks (TBMs) across the site.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD to manage survey data, verify layouts, and prepare "as-built" documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in site surveying, specifically within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Technical Skills: * Expertise in operating Total Station equipment.
- Strong command of AutoCAD software for drawing management and data interpretation.
- Proficiency in setting out grid lines, foundation points, and establishing site TBMs.
- Soft Skills: Ability to troubleshoot discrepancies between site conditions and drawings; attention to detail; strong communication skills to coordinate with the site engineering team.
