GM Fabrics is hiring "Business Development Manager" for its B2B division.
Job Location: Marol, Andheri(E)
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, approach, and onboard new B2B clients (dealers, distributors, institutional buyers, exporters, etc.) within the textile domain.
- Conduct market visits to prospect new clients, understand their requirements, and present suitable product solutions.
- Drive revenue targets by promoting fabric, made-ups, or home textile products depending on company’s portfolio.
- Maintain and grow key customer accounts through regular follow-ups and relationship management.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans and strategies to maximize market penetration.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events to network and build brand presence.
- Coordinate with internal teams (production, design, dispatch) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to identify new areas for growth.
Education, Experience and skill sets:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales/business development in the textile industry.
- Strong network with buyers, dealers, and institutional clients in textiles/home furnishing.
- Willingness to travel extensively across regions for client meetings and market visits.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
