Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Architect to support the design, planning, and execution of architectural projects. The Assistant Architect will work closely with senior architects and project teams to develop design concepts, prepare drawings, coordinate with consultants, and ensure compliance with building regulations and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and construction documents.
- Develop 2D and 3D models, renderings, and presentations using architectural software.
- Support project planning, design development, and documentation phases.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure design compliance.
- Research building materials, construction methods, and applicable codes and regulations.
- Prepare project reports, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Assist in obtaining approvals, permits, and regulatory clearances.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to design discussions.
- Maintain project records and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or Diploma in Architect equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in architectural design or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, or similar design software.
- Knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and architectural standards.
- Strong drawing, visualization, and presentation skills.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or practical experience in an architectural firm.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes.
- Experience with sustainable design principles and green building standards.
Working Conditions
